Edit My Profile in a SharePoint 2010 My Site when the My Settings page isn’t Editable

This is a solution that an Administrator will need to put in place and not one that ends users will be able to put into place on their own.

I could edit my profile and anything else that was a hyperlink-enabled edit, but there was no Ribbon and no Edit button anywhere.
